Create an opt-in email address list. You can begin doing this at your grand opening. On the form guests use to sign up for the prize drawing, include an area where they can provide their email or mailing addresses and opt-in to receive future mailings from your business. When a customer makes a purchase at your business, ask him whether he wants to be added to your mailing list to be notified of upcoming specials and receive coupons. If you participate in area trade shows or community festivals, invite visitors to sign up for your mailing list at these events, as well.
